Sheqi, a county in Nanyang, has built a 7,000-mu poverty alleviation base for medicinal herbs in cooperation with pharmaceutical enterprises and new agricultural business entities. The base is helping to offer job opportunities to poor households and thus speed up the pace of poverty alleviation in the city.
