Nanyang creates 21,900 new jobs in first quarter
According to the Nanyang Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, in the first quarter of this year about 21,900 new jobs were created in cities and towns, 2,455 people with difficulties in finding jobs were re-employed , and 17,700 new rural laborers were transferred to jobs, meeting 35.91 percent, 45.46 percent, and 50.49 percent of the annual targets respectively.
About 500 people with various employment difficulties were placed in public welfare positions. As a next step the city will focus on implementation of cohesion policies, employment of college graduates and other key groups, mass entrepreneurship, and transfer of employment services.
