In recent years, Nanyang has actively improved its business environment, adopting methods such as "going out, inviting in, active investment, door-to-door investment" and others. The efforts have attracted many companies and investors to invest and start businesses in Nanyang.

1. Ten cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen, which are at the forefront of reform and opening up, Nangyang are stationed in service liaison groups under the leadership of deputy department-level leaders. They carry out all-round intelligent service liaison work for migrant entrepreneurs and businesses.

2. Nanyang is focusing on 100 major investment promotion projects and 100 new construction projects, discussing 100 key projects throughout the city, and improving the implementation rate, operating rate and fund availability rate of existing investment promotion projects.

3. In the 100-day competition for investment promotion organized by the city last year, leading Party and government leaders at all levels went out to attract investment a total of 106 times. The city introduced 326 projects with a value of more than 100 million yuan, and started 283 projects with a value of more than 100 million yuan.

4. Last year, the city organized and implemented 10 municipal-level major scientific and technological projects, 26 basic frontier projects, 226 scientific and technological research projects, and 100 soft science projects, which greatly improved its technologies in the  intelligent manufacturing, optoelectronics, new materials and biomedical industries.

5. Nanyang has concentrated on cultivating a number of national, provincial, and municipal engineering technology research centers, key laboratories, and academician workstations, striving to achieve full coverage of its large and medium-sized scientific and technological enterprises' R&D platforms above the provincial level.

6. In the Ninth China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Nanyang Division and the Fifth Nanyang Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, a total of 18 companies in Nanyang entered the Henan province finals. Five, including Henan Zhongzhuan New Materials Co., Ltd., entered the national industry finals.

7. In 2020, Nanyang introduced a total of 16,018 high-level and urgently needed talents, including 34 professional and technical personnel with doctorates, 2,205 master’s degree holders, 9,637 BAs, and 4,142 undergraduates. The city also further promoted the nationwide skills revitalization project.

8. Nanyang completed 240,000 vocational trainings last year. In addition, more than 1,000 talent apartments were completed and put into use, and the city also cashed out various policy funds valued at 20.35 million yuan.
