Henan province is once again expanding supplementary efforts to find rural teachers this year, and plans to recruit 18,000 teachers in rural compulsory education schools. Nanyang plans to recruit 3,010 of them. The recruitment will start online registration on July 17, and will feature a unified written test on the morning of Aug 1.

The allocations are 1,583 junior high school teachers and 1,427 primary school teachers. Among them, Nanzhao county has 300, Fangcheng county 480, Xixia county 280, Zhenping county 300, Neixiang county 300, Xichuan county 60, Sheqi county 350, Tanghe county 290, Xinye county 220 , Tongbai county 200, and Dengzhou city 230.

Recruitment targets are ordinary college graduates and above, and graduates of normal professional colleges. At the same time, teachers are required to have a teacher qualification certificate and be under the age of 30.

The national unified salary system and standards shall apply to the teachers' appointment, and other allowances and subsidies shall be comprehensively determined by the post county (city) based on the local annual income level of public teachers and the annual salary subsidy level of teachers for rural areas.
