On July 18, according to the Nanyang Municipal Housing and Urban-rural Construction Bureau, since the renovation of the urban old communities project started, Nanyang has steadily promoted the reconstruction of old urban communities and successfully completed its provincial targets.

Up to now, the city has included 498 old community reconstruction tasks (including 23 in Dengzhou ) supported by the central subsidy in 2020, involving 36,529 households, all of which have completed reconstruction, with a cumulative investment of almost 530 million yuan.

In 2021, 294 old community reconstruction tasks (including 7 in Dengzhou) were included in the central subsidy support, involving 24,607 residents, all of which have started construction, with a cumulative investment of almost 19 million yuan, the work results of which are among the top in Henan province.
