Nanyang City Library re-opened on Sept 1. The total number of daily visiting people will be controlled at 1,200 and the number of people in the library at the same time will not exceed 600.

Readers must make an appointment through the official WeChat account of Nanyang City Library, or on-site, to enter the library. When entering the library, readers must present their health code and communication itinerary card, record their body temperature, and wear masks throughout their visit.

For elderly readers who cannot provide itinerary codes and health codes, they can register at the entrance of the library with their identity information (identity card or social security card), and enter the library once their temperature is recorded as normal.

The open space and facilities will be completely disinfected, twice a day, and the windows will be kept open for ventilation. All of the books returned by readers will be disinfected for 24 hours before being put back on the shelves for circulation. Any books rented before the temporary closure, due to pandemic prevention and control (Aug 4 to 31, 2021), and are overdue and still need to be returned, will be exempt from any charges.
