Nanyang Auto Parts Industry Association held an inaugural meeting on September 9 to announce that Nanyang Auto Parts Industry has reached a new level in its development. 

The auto parts industry is the dominant industry in Nanyang, and after nearly 50 years of development, it has formed a group of special-purpose automobiles and parts production enterprises offering a wide range of products with unique characteristics.

At present, there are 131 automobile industry enterprises in the city, including 108 parts manufacturing enterprises, 18 special-purpose vehicle manufacturing enterprises, and 5 new energy automobile parts manufacturing enterprises. In 2020, the city's large scale automobile and parts industrial enterprises achieved a revenue of nearly 30 billion yuan from their main business activities, making a significant contribution to the high-quality development of Nanyang's industrial economy.

The attendees at the inaugural meeting voted to appoint the chairman, vice chairman and secretary general of the Nanyang Auto Parts Industry Association.

Sun Yaozhong, the newly elected chairman of the Nanyang Auto Parts Industry Association, outlined the future development strategy and work plans of the association.
