Workers from Qingdao Port, a subsidiary of Shandong Port Group, stick to their posts in severe cold weather in an effort to keep pivotal logistics channels safe and smooth.
A cold spell hit Qingdao, Shandong province after Winter Solstice, the 22nd solar term of the year, bringing strong wind as well as sleet and heavy snow. Working units at the Qingdao Port launched contingency plans immediately and implemented strict regulations in response to extreme weather.
