Cross-border e-commerce boosts handicrafts sales in Liaocheng

Print PrintChiping district in Liaocheng, Shandong province, has been leveraging cross-border e-commerce to boost sales of local handicrafts, which have been exported to the United States, Japan, Europe and other countries and regions, generating annual sales of 350 million yuan ($48.56 million).
Over 20 primary processing points for handicrafts have been set up in 14 local towns and villages, providing more than 5,000 jobs, which has helped to boost local farmers' incomes and advance rural vitalization.
