A new milestone in Shandong's railway infrastructure has been reached with the completion of the track laying for the Henan section. 

The Shandong-Henan High-Speed Railway, stretching from Rizhao, Shandong to Lankao, Henan serves as a vital link in the national high-speed rail network, covering 494 km with a maximum speed of 350 km per hour.

With the recent opening of the Heze-Lankao segment, the entire Shandong-Henan High-Speed Railway is now operational. This development not only connects Shandong and Henan but also integrates these provinces into the broader national rail network, enhancing regional transportation efficiency.

The inauguration of the Jinan-Zhengzhou High-Speed Railway on Dec 8, 2023, further solidified the economic ties between Shandong and Henan. This direct rail link has significantly increased economic activity between the two provinces, marking a new era of collaboration and growth.

In a joint effort, Shandong and Henan have unveiled a comprehensive plan for the cooperative development of their adjacent regions. This initiative aims to deepen exchanges and cooperation across various sectors, including infrastructure development and economic integration.

The plan underscores the commitment to infrastructure connectivity, with projects like the Rizhao-Lankao High-Speed Railway's Henan section and more related taking center stage. These projects exemplify a new model of inter-provincial cooperation, emphasizing the importance of regional synergy and development.
