SDUT deepens cooperation with Russian university

Shandong University of Technology (SDUT), located in Zibo, East China's Shandong province, and Novgorod State University (NOVSU) in Russia jointly held a video conference to discuss exchange and cooperation on April 24. Officials from relevant departments and colleges of both universities participated.

During the meeting, Cong Hailin, vice-president of SDUT, provided a detailed introduction to discipline development, faculty, talent cultivation, scientific research, and international exchange and cooperation at SDUT. He emphasized that the university has always attached great importance to international exchange and cooperation, expressing a desire to deepen cooperation with NOVSU to achieve mutual complementarity and common development.

Anastasia Pavlovna Novikova, vice-president of External Relations and International Activities at NOVSU, reviewed the achievements the two universities have made in cooperation and exchange. She said that NOVSU highly values its cooperation with SDUT and looks forward to deepening cooperation in more fields.

Representatives from SDUT also provided detailed introductions on the university's development and international exchange and cooperation work. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation matters such as exchanging teachers and students, joint student training, and academic exchanges, reaching multiple cooperation intention agreements.

The event not only deepened mutual understanding and friendship between the two universities but also laid a solid foundation for their future cooperation. Both sides expressed their commitment to further strengthening exchange and cooperation, jointly promoting the development of education.
