In 2025, Jinan will accelerate industrial growth by enhancing leading industries, fostering future industries, and boosting modern services. Initiatives include adding 150 large-scale industrial firms and over 1,000 outstanding companies. Its focus will be on key areas to create a national hub for future industries. Jinan will also strengthen its innovation capacity, aiming for 3 percent of GDP in research and development investment.

3. Integration of culture and tourism

In 2024, Jinan continued to integrate culture and tourism by planning a series of events. In 2025, the city will create more engaging experiences for visitors through its spring water culture, famous historical figures, and Yellow River heritage. Jinan aims to share its rich traditional culture with the world, while also developing iconic tourism destinations and cultural leisure districts.
