Convenient transportation

Guangyuan has convenient transportation. It has access to the Baoji-Chengdu Railway, Lanzhou-Chongqing Railway and Xi'an-Chengdu High-Speed Railway, meaning it takes only three hours to go from Guangyuan to other cities in Sichuan or to Lanzhou or Xi'an.

Panlong, the city's only airport, has a terminal covering 5,000 square meters, which can meet the annual passenger demands of 500,000 passengers. In 2020, it had five airlines navigating to 11 cities, increasing visitor flow to Guangyuan.

Comfortable temperature

The pursuit of comfort is the instinct of all mankind. People can't decide their city of birth, but they can choose a comfortable city to live in.

Guangyuan is situated on the northern side of the Qinling Mountains, in the transition zone between North and South climates. The average summer temperature in Guangyuan is only 26 C and the average annual temperature is 16 C, which is very comfortable for living and retirement. The forest coverage rate of Guangyuan in 2019 was 57.22 percent and the air quality rate was 96.7 percent. Outstanding natural conditions can reduce the possibility of diseases and maximize physical health.

Zengjia Mountain has won the title of "one of top ten famous summer mountain resorts in China" for three consecutive years. Its altitude is about 1,400 meters and its forest coverage rate reaches 74 percent. Additionally, its average temperate in summer is 23 C. Thanks to these natural conditions, Zengjia Mountain is not only renowned for its comfortable weather in summer, but is also dubbed a natural oxygen bar.

Stylish residential accommodations

In recent years, in order to meet the demands of tourism development, Guangyuan regards the residential industry as an important way to promote leisure resort tourism.

A number of stylish local residential compounds have been established in Guangyuan, providing special travel experiences for guests.

"Shan Gu Yuan She" has recently been the "hot B&B" in Guangyuan. It's located in Chuxin valley, Qingchuan county, Guangyuan city, only two and a half hours from Chengdu by high-speed train.

Li Zhengjun, the person in charge of the B&B, worked in Beijing until 2014 when he returned to Qingchuan to take care of his elderly mother. Due to his rich experience in the construction industry, and a plan of the Qingchuan county's government to support entrepreneurship, Li opened the B&B. 

Li said that during last year's National Day holiday, there were many guests, mainly young people, who made room reservations at his B&B, but tourists actually come in an endless stream at ordinary times as well.

Special B&Bs

Qiaomuju inn: Qiaomuju inn is located at No.29 Qiaomu Road of Qiaozhuang town. It has 10 guest rooms that feature modern simplicity, Nordic style and local culture and customs. Each room costs RMB 148 to 228 for one night.

Zhuyin Shanshe: Located in Yinping village of Qingxi town, it is surrounded by a tapestry of mountains, rivers, singing birds and fragrant flowers.

Gu's Courtyard: The well preserved northern Sichuan residential courtyard can be found in Zhaohua ancient town. Its buildings maintain an ancient style, and its inn can hold 150 person dinner parties. It is also equipped with a tea house and entertainment rooms.

Yunding Meishu (Yunding villa): Established in 2016, it has 23 guest rooms with wonderful views, and is a good choice for those seeking relaxation.  

Longmen·Fannian inn: It has 13 guest rooms and is equipped with a swimming pool, a tea art performance room, a book bar, a red wine cellar, Chinese and Western restaurants and a gymnasium.

Panyun Jianshe inn: Part of Zengjia Mountain scenic resort, the inn is noted for delicate and private guest rooms that are kept bright and clean, and are always very comfortable.

Yinghua Kezhan (Sakura inn): The inn can be found on Kuixing Street of Bolin ancient town scenic spot. Its building adopts the Chinese style of Siheyuan (quadrangle dwellings), and the inn is surrounded by trees and flowers, making it a wonderful and peaceful place for conferences, holidays and leisure. 

Banshan Xingsu inn: Located in the Qifeng Gorge tourist area, it features guest rooms facing the mountains and fields. Through the rooms' glass walls, hotel guests can have a full view of Qifeng Gorge.
