When coming here, visitors won't want to miss the 26-km-long white water rafting ride in clear, mineral-rich rivers, with a drop amounting to 206m.
Surrounded by mountains, the drifting route is rich in fine views of green bamboo groves, strange rocks and deep precipices. Other activities such as a treetop adventure and camping are also worth checking out.

Authentic mountain banquets are expected to be offered during the trip. Local chefs often use fresh bamboo fungus, morels, black fungus, shiitake mushrooms and other high-quality ingredients to prepare each mouth watering dish.

Visitors will probably run into wild animals, either climbing on trees or squatting on the ground, who sometimes give passers-by big puppy-dog eyes. The nature reserve for forestry and wild animals, especially giant pandas, is a holy land among nature conservationists all over the world.
By virtue of its advantageous resources, it is praised by Chinese and foreign experts as a "natural gene pool”, a "home of lives", and the "green pearl" in the Minshan Mountains.

Tangjiahe, as one of the low-altitude areas on the planet with a highest encounter rate of wild animals, has also been listed among the first batch of Best Protected Areas of the International Union for Conservation of Nature.
In recent years, it has attracted prestigious domestic universities, such as Tsinghua University and Peking University, to hold classes here, and has been chosen as a site for international events, including the China-ASEAN Wildlife Conservation Training Workshop, and the International Alliance of Protected Areas Annual Meeting.
