It is the hometown of Jiajia, the world's longest-lived giant panda who holds a Guinness World Record. Currently, there are more than 60 lovely giant pandas in the area.

At an altitude of between 1,600 to 3,600 meters, endless coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forests make Tangjiahe a gene database.

Abundant different types of arrow bamboo forests thrive in the fertile soil, including Fargesia scabrida and Fargesia rufa, guaranteeing a constant supply of food for the pandas.

Located in the core area of the Giant Panda National Park, Tangjiahe is also a holy land among nature conservationists all over the world.

In the first half of the year, no less than five videos were recorded in the Motianling Ridge area of the reserve. The biggest surprise of all was that of a female and male giant panda's courtship behavior, which was captured for the first time in April.
