Sichuan's city of Guangyuan signed 86 investment promotion deals during the promotional meeting for the Western China International Fair (WCIF) on Sept 15 in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province.

Thirty-six key projects was rolled out over the meeting, involving those in the aluminum-based materials, green home furnishings, and food and beverage sectors.

Party chief of Guangyuan Zou Zijing said the city has sped up its high-quality development and comprehensive revitalization, as the national fight against poverty and the building of a well-off society in an all-around way have come to a successful close. Its multiple strategic opportunities will provide a broad stage for enterprises to conduct industrial division and trade cooperation.

According to Zou, Guangyuan is becoming the forefront of inland opening-up. It will agglomerate resources from around the country and embrace the world with smoother transportation and more convenient logistics.

Based on a solid industrial foundation, Guangyuan has accelerated its industrial transformation and upgrading in an all-around way, he added. It will strive to create the best business environment in Sichuan by offering efficient and convenient government services and guaranteeing standard and orderly management.

Zou vowed to strictly implement the city's project promotion mechanism, open up green channels for key enterprise and projects, achieve zero interference in production and operation and engage in in-depth exchanges with all entrepreneurs who come to invest in Guangyuan.
