It is the latest result of digital technology cooperation between the two parties following partnerships in rural e-commerce, cross-border e-commerce and talent training. It was implemented under the framework of collaboration and paired assistance between China's eastern and western regions.
With the center's help, local firms are expected to foster digital sector professionals, upgrade rural services, and drive the local digital economy, as well as smart industries.
Young people will be able to find jobs near their homes and receive special expertise and practical skill training in connection with digital services.
According to Alibaba, the center will create 200 to 300 employment opportunities for people aged between 18 and 35 and provide customer service for Tmall, Taobao and their affiliated international business branches.
Statistics show that about one-third of employees working on the project are those who have returned to Cangxi from other places. This indicates that the project has successfully drawn back many young people and cultivated a rising number of prospective e-commerce talents to boost rural revitalization.
"Cangxi will do its utmost to create a better business environment and support the project with high-quality administrative services," said Zhang Shizhong, Party chief of Cangxi, at the signing ceremony.
