Guangyuan reports 900,000 passenger trips during Duanwu Festival
The city of Guangyuan in Southwest China's Sichuan province recorded over 900,000 passenger trips during the three-day Dragon Boat Festival, or Duanwu Festival, which ended on June 5 this year.
According to the city's transport authority, 33,900 passenger trips were made by buses, down 42.83 percent over the same period in 2021.
Local public transport witnessed 858,600 passenger trips.
About 9,100 passenger trips were made by water, a year-on-year increase of 24.32 percent compared with last year.
In addition, 802 passenger trips were made by air.
