A contract signing ceremony for 70 projects with a total investment of 21.82 billion yuan ($3.19 billion) was recently held in Guanyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province.

The contracts involve 38 industrial projects worth 12.75 billion yuan, 19 modern service industry projects and 13 modern agricultural projects.

In terms of investment scale, three projects boast an investment of over one billion yuan each, including the Jialing River Ecological Culture and the Tourism Park Demonstration Zone projects.

In addition, 17 projects have investments ranging from 500 million to 1 billion yuan, such as the aluminum profiles project, which features an annual output of 50,000 tons.

Guangyuan's Zhaohua district reached a cooperation agreement on a smart door and window and wood-based panel production base project with Chengdu City Construction Investment & Management Group, with an investment of 1.8 billion yuan, to accelerate the development of the local green home furnishing industry.

 "Zhaohua district's broad development prospects, excellent business environment, high-quality and abundant resources, and convenient logistics are attractive to us," said Liu Cheng, general manager of group, adding that the two sides reached an agreement in less than two months.
