The vibrant essence of the Chinese New Year embodies the rich tapestry of folk customs and grassroots culture.

From Feb 10 to 16, Guangyuan city in Southwest China's Sichuan province has orchestrated a week-long cultural event During the Spring Festival holiday, which spans from the first to the seventh day of the lunar month.

This event, boasting a diverse array of over 60 performances provided by seven different counties and districts across the city, has united locals in celebrating a cultural extravaganza, heralding the onset of a dynamic and spirited Lunar New Year.

From traditional operatic performances to captivating song and dance numbers, and from mesmerizing lantern displays to engaging skits, the event promises a delightful spectacle for all attendees.
