The park is themed around mythical creatures from Shan Hai Jing (Classic of Mountains and Rivers), an ancient collection written around 2,000 years ago, and there are many animals for kids to interact with. It offers an integrated experience with child-friendly activities, high-end dining, educational tours and team-building programs.
Since its opening in March, the park has drawn visitors looking to enjoy the outdoors.
A citizen surnamed Ma from Guangyuan's Lizhou district, brought his family to enjoy the perfect weather at Kunpeng Adventure Park last weekend.
Spanning green meadows, they enjoyed tea brewed over an open fire and the aroma of sizzling barbecue from nearby grills. Children played happily at the park's attractions, including swings, trampolines, feeding the spotted deer, and pony rides, filling the area with laughter.
"The park is very convenient for us, it's only a 20-minute drive from home," Ma said.
"It has many fresh, interesting facilities for kids, making it an ideal place for family outings.”
Kunpeng Adventure Park was developed with a unique EPC+F investment model, covering an expansive 15.87 hectares with a total investment of over 80 million yuan ($11.07 million).
The park is expected to draw more than 300,000 visitors annually, creating employment for around 100 local residents. These contributions are set to bolster rural revitalization and foster growth within Guangyuan's leisure and tourism industry.
