The World Internet Conference (WIC) Digital Silk Road Development Forum, with the theme of "Connectivity and Shared Prosperity", will be held on April 16 in Xi'an, Northwest China's Shaanxi province.

As the first thematic event of the WIC with a focus on the Digital Silk Road, the forum aims to contribute to the growth of digital economy through extensive discussions on the topics of digital connectivity and cooperation in building the Silk Road, Silk Road e-commerce international cooperation, and digital villages and sustainable development.
