The 2019 China IoT CXO Summit – which was held in Xiamen, in East China's Fujian province, on July 10 – attracted some big names.

CXOs are corporate executives at what is sometimes called the C-level and include Chief Executive Officer, or CEO, Chief Technical Officer and Chief Strategy Officer.

About 100 young CXOs from across the country came together and discussed the pressing issues and development direction of the internet of things industry.

Many big names in related industries made keynote speeches during the summit.

Although IoT companies are facing many challenges at present, the sector is already having a profound impact in all areas, and the market opportunities are much more than challenges, according to Guan Zhen, senior strategic technical adviser of Microsoft China.

The summit, one of the events at the 5th China International IoT Fair, also included an awards ceremony for the IoT industry.
