The 2026 Chinese Collegiate Computing Competition (Higher Vocational and Technical Education) has concluded in Shanghai, with five entries from the Nantong Vocational University honored for their outstanding performance.

Hosted by the University Computer Course Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, this prestigious event is one of the most influential competitions in China's computer science field.

After rigorous selection processes at both the university and provincial levels, 677 projects involving over 2,000 participants from 23 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions advanced to the finals.

Nantong Vocational University excelled with five entries, achieving three second prizes and two third prizes. These works spanned digital media design and artificial intelligence applications, reflecting a strong blend of cultural heritage and technological innovation.

Notably, two works from the School of Artificial Intelligence and Electronic Information won second prizes, praised for their creative integration of traditional Chinese cultural elements with digital media technology. Another second prize was awarded to the entry from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, which addresses real-world challenges in power equipment maintenance.

The two third-prize projects made valuable contributions to intelligent diagnostics for power equipment and the digital preservation of traditional architectural culture.

This achievement underscores the university's commitment to integrating education with industry, using competition as a catalyst to enhance teaching, research, and curriculum development.
