A new trendy sports hub debuts in North Bund

On June 21, Playground X officially opened its doors, introducing a cutting-edge integrated sports and social space to Shanghai's North Bund in Hongkou district.

Located on the 5th floor of the Sinar Mas Plaza, the 4,000-square-meter venue combines an indoor basketball court, an outdoor sky court, and a trendy social lounge, redefining urban leisure experiences.

Certified by the NBA, the 750-square-meter professional court features iconic blue-and-white NBA branding and 360° transparent domes. Equipped with top-tier facilities, including locker rooms and showers, it will host NBA star interactions, 3X tournaments, and viewing parties, bringing basketball culture to life.

AIR HOOP outdoor sky court

The 700-square-meter open-air court boasts vibrant, high-contrast color blocks for dynamic visuals. Beyond basketball, it will double as a hub for skateboarding, street dancing, and music events, embracing urban street culture.

PLAYERS LOUNGE social club

Designed by New York's Studio MH, the 160-square-meter retro-industrial space blends rugged metal, neon lights, and bold hues. Visitors can enjoy craft cocktails and gourmet bites while taking in 270° views of the Huangpu River and the courts below. A thrilling slide connects the lounge directly to the basketball court, adding playful energy.
