Asian Breakdancing Championships set to dazzle in Shanghai's Huangpu district
Shanghai's Huangpu district will become the epicenter of Asian breakdancing as it is set to host the 2025 WDSF Asian Breaking Championships and the 2025 WDSF Asian Breaking Championships Youth from June 27 to 29.
This marks the first time these prestigious events to be held in Huangpu, underscoring the region's commitment to becoming a hub for international sports events.
Organized by the Huangpu district's sports bureau, the championships attract nearly 300 top breakdancers from 13 Asian countries and regions. The event promises not only thrilling competitions but also a platform for cultural exchange among Asian breakdancing enthusiasts.
To ensure a seamless experience, the organizing committee has collaborated with various stakeholders to upgrade facilities, assemble a professional judging panel, and recruit bilingual volunteers. Medical and security teams are also on standby to handle emergencies.
With sponsors like Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and INS Land providing strong support, the championships are poised to become a classic in the Asian breakdancing calendar. Fans can follow the action live through official websites, social media, and partner media outlets.
