In the heart of Yangpu district, Huangxing Park's 4,000-square-meter lotus pond is entering its most beautiful season.
This hidden gem is set to become a favorite spot for locals and tourists alike. At the park entrance, the sight of the pink lotus petals glistening with morning dew, while surrounded by lush green leaves, is undeniably breathtaking.
The lotus blooms from June to September, offering a rich variety of colors and species. The park is particularly beautiful on summer mornings or after rain.
Huangxing Park is also a new venue for the 12th Shanghai Lotus and Water Lily Exhibition, running from July 7 to Aug 7. This year, the exhibition includes one main venue and four sub-venues, inviting the public to capture the beauty of lotuses up close.
