Light festival in Jing'an set to dazzle this autumn

The 3rd "Shining Shanghai Light Up Jing'an", also serving as the Jing'an branch venue for the 2025 Shanghai International Light Festival, is set to return from Sept 29 to Oct 8, 2025.

 The event will focus on two major commercial districts: West Nanjing Road and Suhe Bay, promising a spectacular visual experience. A key highlight will be the upgraded light show at the Suzhou Creek riverside platform, illuminating the night sky with a vast visual display. The popular "Shining Shanghai" (Jing'an) 2025 International Light Art Open Call will also return, with its exhibition at Shenyuli, offering a prime photo opportunity for visitors.

Additionally, an immersive Dunhuang-themed light culture street will be featured in Jing'an Park, showcasing a unique blend of traditional Chinese culture and modern light art technology. Throughout September and October, the festival will collaborate with prominent shopping malls, including the Jiuguang Center, Suhewan Mixc World, and Jing'an Joy City, alongside various brands to introduce a series of engaging activities.
