Putuo shines at Pujiang Innovation Forum with sci-tech achievements
The 2025 Pujiang Innovation Forum took place in Shanghai from Sept 20 to 22, themed "Building an Open and Cooperative Global Sci-tech Community". The event encouraged extensive dialogues on worldwide technological trends and challenges, with Putuo district highlighting several significant accomplishments.
A major highlight was the release of the humanoid robot dataset standard, created by the Shanghai Robot Industrial Technology Research Institute in collaboration with 19 industrial, academic, and research institutions. At the same time, the institute introduced Pujiang X (DOME), China's first standardized dataset platform for embodied intelligence, in partnership with Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and Tongji University.

These initiatives offer crucial support for the future standardization and the large-scale deployment of humanoid robots.
The "Pujiang X" platform focuses on providing extensive, high-quality, and standardized data resources for embodied intelligence research and development. Its goal is to address industry challenges such as data shortages, inconsistent standards, and data fragmentation, ultimately creating a robust data infrastructure to support scientific progress and industrial use.

As a key component of the forum, the 2025 InnoMatch Expo was held concurrently. Taopu Smart City organized seven innovative enterprises to exhibit, demonstrating the district's strength in sectors like life sciences, new energy, and internet technology, attracting numerous professional visitors for potential collaboration.

The forum also highlighted a vibrant youth force. Over 50 young scientists participated in a Rowing race on the Suzhou Creek, an event blending sports with innovation spirit.
