IAV China, a subsidiary of IAV, one of the world's leading engineering partners for the automotive industry, recently celebrated its 20th anniversary at the Sino-German Automotive Summit Forum in Shanghai.

At the celebration, the company unveiled its latest innovations in automotive intelligence.

It aims to enhance the industry with AI-driven electric drive systems, connected thermal management, an intelligent data platform called Merida, a software-defined vehicle toolchain, and quantum encryption security technology. These advancements are set to make vehicles more efficient, intelligent, and secure.

A standout innovation is IAV's intelligent data analysis platform, which extracts valuable insights from automotive data to support strategic business decisions. The software-defined vehicle toolchain improves the human-machine interaction experience, boosting market competitiveness. Moreover, its quantum encryption technology significantly enhances the security and reliability of automotive electronic systems.

Fu Qinyan, chairman of IAV China, highlighted the company's commitment to advancing technological solutions while focusing on talent development, cultural integration, and localized R&D.

This approach has driven significant improvements in IAV China's organizational structure, R&D processes, and customer service. By 2030, IAV aims to achieve a revenue of 10 billion yuan (approximately $1.4 billion) in China, with plans to expand its workforce to around 1,000 employees.

Jiading district, a key hub for China's automotive industry, not only houses IAV's headquarters in China but also supports its technological innovation and localization.

Since establishing a subsidiary in Jiading's Anting town in 2005, IAV has been actively involved in China's automotive growth.

IAV China has expanded its focus from power systems to cutting-edge fields like intelligent driving, electrification, and software platforms. It has successfully launched projects including autonomous minibuses, AI battery management systems, and software-defined vehicle platforms.

Fu emphasized IAV China's commitment to working with Jiading to seize industry transformation opportunities, enhance local R&D capabilities, and support the growth of China's automotive sector in intelligence, electrification, and globalization.
