Jiading Enterprise Exhibition Area shines at CIIE

The Jiading Enterprise Exhibition Area, a dedicated area for auto multinationals from Shanghai's Jiading district, debuted in the Automotive and Smart Mobility section at the eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE).

Located in Hall 2.1 of the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), the area spans 300 square meters and features areas like an international enterprise section and an innovation lab, showcasing Jiading’s role as a hub for cutting-edge automotive technology.

It highlights the strengths of nine companies, including major players like NIO, Karlmann, and G.Patton, through interactive displays and models.

A standout feature is NIO's new model, the ET9, which offers an immersive experience akin to Disney's "Soarin' Over the Horizon." Liu Jiacheng, NIO's Business Development Director, described the car's active suspension system and special effects, which create a 5D cinema-like experience, highlighting Jiading's innovation in new energy vehicles.

Karlmann's vehicles boast a distinctive diamond-cut design, while G.Patton's armored vehicles blend futuristic and technological elements, appealing to those seeking personalized options.

The CIIE serves as a premier platform for brands to unveil new products. Karlmann's Arcadia P01 smart sofa, inspired by a classic Porsche model, made its Asian debut at the Jiading booth.

"Our sofa offers a high-quality lifestyle with automotive flair," said Zhang Kui, vice general manager of Karlmann. The sofa features hidden storage spaces that open with a simple tap, symbolizing the integration of technology into everyday life.

With over 4,500 automotive companies and more than 600 firms focused on new automotive technologies, Jiading is a key player in Shanghai's automotive scene. It hosts landmarks like the Shanghai International Circuit and the Shanghai Auto Museum.
