Shanghai International Cruise Summit charts course for cruise industry innovation
The Shanghai International Cruise Summit convened on Nov 6 under the theme "Innovation and Breakthrough in the Cruise Industry of China and Asia from a Global Perspective".
The event attracted over 300 experts and representatives from over 30 global port cities, focusing on high-quality cruise industry development.

A key highlight was the launch of the "High-Quality Development Initiative for China's Cruise Tourism Development Demonstration Zone", signaling the start of a new phase of systematic and institutional enhancement for Shanghai's cruise industry.

The forum released the "Development Report of Cruise, Yatch & Ship Industry in China (2024-2025)" accompanied by an industry map, analyzing recent trends and data and providing strategic insights for policymakers and investors.
The SICS Awards 2025 recognized industry excellence, honoring units, ports, and celebrated leading enterprises across the cruise supply chain for their contributions to the advancement of the industry.
