Jinshan signs first deal at 8th CIIE worth 60m yuan ($8.4 million)

On the morning of Nov 6, Evirth signed a 60-million-yuan ($8.4 million) procurement agreement with Fonterra at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), marking Shanghai's Jinshan district's first deal at the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE).

At Fonterra's booth, a selection of products such as milk tea, cakes, and bread was on display, along with key ingredients like cream, butter, and cheese. The procurement agreement covers around 1,800 metric tons of dairy fat products, including butter, cream, and cheese.

"We will use these ingredients to develop new products, particularly focusing on innovations in cheesecake and mousse cakes," said Liu Shuaishuai, deputy general manager. He said, "This agreement involves more than raw materials; Fonterra will also assist us with product innovation and application of ingredients".
