LEGO unveils new products at 8th CIIE with 'city of fun' theme
At the 8th China International Import Expo (CIIE), LEGO Group introduced its "city of fun" exhibit, inspired by children's concepts for transforming urban spaces. The booth featured a LEGO® brick model of Shanghai's future city.

The main attraction was the LEGO Shanghai resort concept model, built with nearly 100,000 LEGO bricks. It featured LEGO city, streets, and a theme park area, providing a virtual glimpse of the park's creative attractions.

Visitors explored the "city of fun", where LEGO bricks recreated iconic Shanghai landmarks and street scenes, inspiring creativity. The theme, "fun never stops", encouraged attendees to appreciate the city's beauty and discover endless possibilities in a playful "City Walk".
Since its debut at the CIIE in 2018, LEGO has introduced 29 new products, with two-thirds inspired by Chinese culture, customs, and festivals.

This year, LEGO launched five new sets: LEGO® Galloping Horse Canvas, LEGO® Fortune Firecracker, LEGO® Fortune Master, LEGO® Four Weapons Blacksmith, and LEGO® The Botanical Collection. These sets are designed for different age groups and interests.

The LEGO® Galloping Horse Canvas set includes four horses symbolizing good fortune, while the LEGO® Fortune Firecracker and LEGO® Fortune Master celebrate Chinese New Year traditions. These products will be released in China starting Dec 23.
