New Collaborative Innovation Center opens to boost regional tech development

Shanghai's Putuo district has launched the Collaborative Innovation Center for the Shanghai-Nanjing Industrial Innovation Belt. This move marks a key step in advancing cooperation in technology and industry in the region.

The center is divided into three main zones — exhibition, service, and meeting — each designed to support the others. The exhibition area features collaborative achievements along the industrial innovation corridor, showcasing milestone projects, core resources from major laboratories, research institutions, and leading enterprises. It also demonstrates innovative applications in fields like AI and life sciences, emphasizing the region's growth potential.

The service zone, as the core of the center's support system, concentrates on talent, finance, government affairs, and global expansion. It promotes talent exchange, financing, cross-provincial business services, and internationalization assistance for enterprises.

The meeting zone serves as a platform for dialogue, hosting forums, roadshows, and industry summits to connect companies, research institutes, and investors. By removing information barriers, it facilitates accurate partnership matches and boosts innovation output transformation.

During the Technology and Industrial Collaborative Innovation Day event, over 50 companies participated in exchanges. The center also took part in unveiling landmark achievements, reinforcing Putuo's role in activating new quality productive forces and promoting collaboration along the industrial innovation corridor.
