Fengxian unveils development achievements under 14th Five-Year Plan
On Nov 21, Shanghai's Fengxian district unveiled its 14th Five‑Year Plan (2021-25) achievements, pledging to become a southern Shanghai growth pole under a growth framework focused on environment, industry, innovation, services, and governance.
Industrial momentum
Fengxian strengthened its industrial foundation, increased strategic emerging industries to over 80 percent of output, expanded service revenue, and advanced innovation with new policies and high-tech enterprises driving sustained, high-quality economic growth.

Strategic integration
The district further strengthened its partnership with the Lin-gang Special Area, accelerated integrated industrial growth, promoted cooperation within the Yangtze River Delta, and boosted spillover effects from the China International Import Expo (CIIE), attracting global investors and fostering regional collaboration.
