Autumn colors warm roads and parks across Jinshan

As temperatures fall, Shanghai's Jinshan district is entering peak autumn foliage season, with maple, ginkgo, sweet soapberry, and dawn redwood coloring roads and parks, transforming everyday routes into warm, scenic landscapes.

Along Songjin Highway in Zhangyan Ancient Town, maple trees turn a fiery crimson after frost and sunlight, their rich reds highlighted by leaf veins, signaling the arrival of autumn with vividness and seasonal richness.

In Zhangyan Ancient Town, ginkgo trees within the town government compound and at a nearby community school turn golden at the same time, their fan-shaped leaves gently falling and carpeting the ground with a soft rustling sound.

As visitors enter Baijia Village, the bustle diminishes while bright yellow soapberry trees stand out. Their ripe fruits sway gently in the breeze, resembling small bells illuminated by the clear autumn sunlight.

Along the Zishijing River, rows of dawn redwoods transition from lush green in summer to rusty red, standing tall along the banks as reflections of sky, trees, and water create a tranquil seasonal corridor.

Autumn's beauty is best seen in Zhangyan Park, where ginkgo trees display bright gold, maples turn a rich red, and evergreens stay green, offering a peaceful yet lively visual display.

In Caojing town, Changyan road looks like a warm oil painting, with pin oak leaves changing from gold to crimson. Sunlight filters through, casting dapples on the clean pavement, inviting visitors to walk, watch shadows dance, and enjoy the autumn scenery.
