Changning's Huangjincheng Road transforms for ginkgo festival
Huangjincheng Road in Shanghai's Changning district transformed into an art street for the 6th Ginkgo Art and Life Festival, where international residents celebrated the fusion of art and nature. The event featured three key themes: co-creation, co-integration, and co-existence, creating a dynamic art corridor.

Under the warm afternoon sun, the street turned into an open-air art studio, with brass bands from various countries playing cheerful tunes beneath the ginkgo trees, as familiar melodies like Sweet Honey and Night in Shanghai mingled with the scent of the ginkgo leaves. Visitors clapped, and children danced, while golden leaves fluttered in the air.

"I can't help but dance whenever I hear music!" said 68-year-old Ms Zhang, spinning with a friend as their skirts swirled with the falling leaves." This is the vibe an international community should have — vibrant and heartwarming!"
At the Cheng Shifa Art Museum, international families painted ginkgo landscapes with professional guidance, turning nature into art. A family from Singapore painted together, with their child completing a joyful ink-on-paper ginkgo scene.
