Xuhui Riverside fetes achievements of 2025
The Xuhui Riverside Co-Governance Alliance recently held its annual meeting to celebrate the successes of 2025 and plan for the future. Leaders and partners gathered to review the year's achievements and welcome new members and projects.
2025 was an important year for Xuhui Riverside. The alliance's efforts paid off with impressive results.
Its Mosu Space has become the world's largest AI incubator, housing companies valued at over 10 billion yuan and attracting more than 700 large-model enterprises.

The "Come to Shanghai, Explore the West Bund" brand has flourished, drawing 20 million visitors to the waterfront, now recognized as a top tourism and leisure block in Shanghai.
The new West Bund International Exhibition Center has hosted major events like the World Artificial Intelligence Conference, establishing itself as a key international venue. Events such as the FISE World Series have boosted the nighttime economy, while festivals like the West Bund Art and Design Week have created a vibrant cultural scene.

Development in the area continues to grow, with projects like the Dong'an urban renewal and the extension of Longteng Avenue paving the way for future expansion. The completion of the "Park City Demonstration Area" design competition sets the stage for the next phase of development.
The meeting also launched the "Come to Shanghai, Explore the West Bund" city ambassador program, with young representatives sharing their takes on the West Bund story.
As 2026 marks the start of the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30), the alliance is now focused on moving from "focused breakthroughs" to "ecological win-win" strategies. By building brand value, enhancing the industrial ecosystem and increasing international influence, Xuhui Riverside aims to become a new urban icon representing Shanghai to the world.
