In January 2026, Shanghai's iconic The Grand Halls in Hongkou district will begin offering a new way for individuals to explore its rich cultural and historical offerings through personalized visit services.
Visitors will be able to book themed tours that delve into The Grand Halls' unique architecture, history, and art. These tours will be guided by professionals and can be easily booked online through the official WeChat account and reservation mini-program, providing flexible scheduling options.
The upgraded reservation system will offer a seamless booking experience and will soon introduce special seasonal projects. Visitors will enjoy a diverse array of cultural scenes and trendy photo spots, enhancing their overall experience.
The Grand Halls is a key cultural landmark in Shanghai, showcasing a fascinating blend of traditional and modern art. It features over 100 artworks from more than 60 artists, including paintings, sculptures, and calligraphy.
Noteworthy pieces include China's largest multimedia glass art installation, largest indoor landscape oil painting, and largest floral mosaic.
The attraction stands as a testament to historical preservation, with its restoration reusing 90,000 original bricks to retain their century-old appearance.
