Nanhui Dongtan Wetland

Situated at the Yangtze River estuary's southern bank, Nanhui Dongtan is a key migratory stop. With 222 bird species recorded, including egrets and night herons, this area is perfect for birdwatching. You might even spot the Black-faced Spoonbill feeding.

- Location: Near Lin-gang Special Area, Pudong New Area

- Best Viewing Period: December to February
