The five-day showcase reflects links between Xuhui district's West Bund and Fengxian district's beauty cluster. By pairing consumer traffic with industrial innovation, organizers aim to move local brands from behind the scenes to the forefront.
Eight benchmark beauty firms from Fengxian's Oriental Beauty Valley are joining the market, including KANS and Flower Lure. Their debut items cover skincare, color cosmetics and functional beauty products, underscoring the area's innovation and manufacturing strength.
KANS, founded in 2003 under Shangmei Group, is a science-driven beauty brand that has expanded into skincare, makeup, men's care and other products. At the event, it showcased its flagship Hongmanyao line and anti-aging products.
The appearance in Xuhui is also a new step in the cooperation between Xuhui and Fengxian, with the two districts aligning R&D in Xuhui and manufacturing in Fengxian. This model is helping local beauty brands gain more visibility among consumers.
From May 20 to 24, the market invites Shanghai residents and overseas visitors to explore the Oriental Beauty Valley brand mix in one stop, adding an interactive element to the city's Shanghai Shopping Festival.
