Pudong shopping districts launch summer consumption carnival

Pudong's major shopping districts have unveiled a series of summer events as part of the 2026 Shanghai Summer International Consumption Season, offering new experiences ranging from nostalgic pop-ups to AI-themed playgrounds.

At Taikoo Li Qiantan, the "Let's Play Well" summer campaign features retro pop-ups from iconic brands. Bright Ice Cream has opened a vintage amusement park with classic recreational facilities. At the same time, White Rabbit has created a "Sweet Fun Pool" installation evoking cool summer vibes with its signature red-white-blue palette.

Florentia Village has transformed into a Mediterranean-inspired destination with its "Ciao Florence" lemon-themed event, featuring freestyle football parades, lemon music seasons, and outdoor movie screenings.

For families, L+Mall offers a "Summer Wonderland" featuring a colorful water park on the lower ground floor and an AI-themed playground on the fifth floor, where children can learn to control robots and fly drones.

The district is also fostering cross-industry collaboration. Taikoo Li Qiantan has partnered with cultural venues, including the Museum of Art Pudong, to offer exclusive benefits to ticket holders. New stores and city-first brands continue to open across the district, adding fresh momentum to summer spending.
