Blooming muhly grass paints Yangpu riverside pink
A vast stretch of pink muhly grass is in full bloom along the Yangpu waterfront, adding a rosy touch to the Huangpu River's autumn scenery.
Near Minghua Sugar Warehouse, close to Anpu Road in Yangpu district, the pink blooms sway in the breeze, creating a striking contrast with the area's industrial heritage.

In total, the plantings cover about 1,500 square meters along the Yangpu riverside. Visitors can find them at Xiudai Square, Salvage Bureau Pier, Lanzhou Road No 1 Pier, the public space west of the Pavilion of Symbiosis, and Kachi Amusement Park.
The flowering season typically runs from mid-September to mid-November, with the grass changing from light pink to deeper rosy hues before gradually fading to pale beige.
