Ningxia Hui autonomous region has three civil airports: Yinchuan Hedong International Airport, Zhongwei Shapotou Airport and Guyuan Liupanshan Airport.

Yinchuan Hedong International Airport 

Yinchuan Hedong International Airport is located in Linhe town, Lingwu, Yinchuan, Ningxia, which is close to the Yellow River. Yinchuan Binhe New Area is north of the airport, and Yinchuan Comprehensive Bonded Zone is to its south.

It is 19 kilometers from downtown Yinchaun, covering 370.67 hectares at an elevation of 1,100 meters. It has now become an important window of Ningxia's reform and opening-up. 

Zhongwei Shapotou Airport 

Zhongwei Shapotou Airport is in Shapotou district, Zhongwei city. It is the second civil airport in Ningxia, and the 14th in the Shaanxi, Gansu, Ningxia and Qinghai regions, as well as the 160th civil airport in the country.

Guyuan Liupanshan Airport

Guyuan Liupanshan Airport is a branch airport in Guyuan city in the south of Ningxia. The airport is located in Shibeiwan village, Pengbao township, northwest of Guyuan. It is 13 km by highway from the downtown. Of Ningxia’s three airports it is the only one on the plateau.
