Two Ningxia villages named 2024 World Tourism Alliance rural revitalization cases
The 2024 World Tourism Alliance recently announced 50 best practice cases of rural revitalization through tourism, with Longquan village in Dawukou district, Shizuishan, and Yaomo village in Yuanzhou district, Guyuan, making the list.
Guyuan signs up to ‘Cities With Nature’ at COP16
Guyuan in Ningxia had the honor of joining the Cities with Nature partnership initiative late last month. Confirmed at the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity (COP16), Guyuan is the only city in Northwest China to sign up to the initiative to date.

Ningxia wine making a splash
There's something about the soil in the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region. The fine silt is so dry that it retains the blazing heat that beats down on it for 3,000 hours each year. Its qualities have led the autonomous region to begin to eke out name for itself in the world of wine.

Ningxia wineries' reputation for quality grows overseas
Many of Ningxia's up-and-coming vineyards are in the eastern foothills of the Helan Mountains, which run parallel to the Yellow River in an area that winemaking experts say is ideal for producing quality wine.
