Che Jun, Party secretary of East China's Zhejiang province, met with a delegation from the US-China Working Group in the House of Representatives of the United States in Hangzhou on March 20.

Che expressed his warm welcome to the delegation and introduced China's strong confidence and determination in further reform and opening-up which is partly reflected in the newly approved national foreign investment law. The Party chief said China and the US enjoy far more common interests than differences and the cooperation between the two countries will benefit the global economy.

Che hoped the delegation's visit will help its members better understand China and the province of Zhejiang, saying Zhejiang is willing to promote the cooperation in economy, trade, investment, education and culture with US regions under the consensuses that have been reached between the two countries.
