A human resources professional from Zhejiang Lab said he received over 20 job seekers who showed strong interest in the institute within an hour, believing that he would recruit some high-caliber talents at the fair.

The recruitment fair attracted over 4,800 people who had the intention of working in Zhejiang and preliminary agreements were reached between employers and some 960 applicants at the fair.

"Hong Kong, an international center for finance, commerce, shipping and service industry, is home to a large group of talented personnel. We hope professionals from Hong Kong can make more visits, and engage in more communication and cooperation with Zhejiang, and we welcome people to start businesses and do innovative work in Zhejiang," said an official at Zhejiang's human resources and social security department.
