Experts delivered speeches on new findings in this field and some companies introduced their latest technologies and products at the forum.

Ren Hailiang, president of the new materials industrial alliance and also general manager of Hengdian Group DMEGC Magnetics Co Ltd, remarked that the Yangtze River Delta is a significant manufacturing base for new materials products in China, and the alliance at the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Valley will boost the coordinated development of this sector.

Shanghai Intellectual Property Rights Trading Center and some universities and colleges released 230 tradable new materials research findings for the deliberation of the gathered experts. More than 40 professors offered guidance on tackling technological bottlenecks.

On the sidelines of the forum, research teams and local science and technology departments had face-to-face talks to seek future cooperation opportunities.
