A think-tank forum focusing on the high-quality development of Zhejiang province was held in Hangzhou, capital of the province, on Aug 24.

Hosted by the provincial publicity department, the Zhejiang Federation of Humanities and Social Sciences Circles and the Zhejiang Daily Press Group, the forum was attended by more than 200 academic scholars and company representatives from inside and outside the province who shared their views on the innovative practices Zhejiang has carried out in pursuit of high-quality development, offering their own thoughts and concerns as well. 

The attendees agreed that high-quality development is necessary for maintaining sound economic growth, and that Zhejiang should strive to become a pilot zone in this regard through innovation and persistent efforts.

Reports on the outstanding practices and high-quality development of counties and private companies in Zhejiang were published at the forum.
